New Website for Rural Communities in B.C.
The Province of British Columbia recently launched the Rural BC website.
The new website provides an expanded source of information intended to meet the needs of rural communities. Specifically:
A database of funding programs available;
Resources and Good Practices;
Information on our webinar series;
A place to profile community events through the calendar tool;
An interactive map;
Information on programs and services for individuals, businesses, community and local government.
Interested individuals also can subscribe to the RSS feed for regular updates to the website.
On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, Community Futures Revelstoke is hosting the region's 8th Annual Community Economic Development Forum. This forum is an excellent opportunity to network with CED practitioners and representatives of community development organizations across the region. Travel subsidies may be available.
