Multiculturalism
British Columbia is home to more than four million people, and it is the most ethnically diverse province in Canada. Almost 30 per cent of British Columbians immigrated to B.C. from another country. Another five per cent of the population is Aboriginal.
Multiculturalism is a way of life here. Cultural, religious and linguistic diversity is celebrated and the rights of everyone are respected. Our cultural backgrounds might be different, but our goal is the same: to have a successful and enjoyable life in B.C.
