After You Have Been Nominated
BC Provincial Nominee Program - Business Immigrants
Nomination
Once the applicant is nominated, the BC PNP will:
-
Send the applicant (or the applicant’s authorized representative) a letter confirming his/her acceptance as a British Columbia Provincial Nominee, together with instructions on applying for a Canadian permanent resident visa. For approved Strategic Projects applicants, we will also send a copy of the letters of acceptance to the sponsoring company.
-
Send the nominee’s Nomination Certificate and Information Release Form to the appropriate visa office of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
After receiving the letter of acceptance, the nominee is responsible for completing and submitting a complete permanent visa application to the appropriate visa office of CIC. This must be done within 180 days of the date of nomination – no extensions will be granted.
