B.C. Community Profiles

Visit Statistics Canada’s Focus on Geography site to search for information in your choice of geographic area. In the “Place name” field, you can enter a specific B.C. community, regional district, or the province as a whole.

Once you’ve found your geographic area, use the dropdown at the top left of the page to find a wide range of information about it. Topics include population, immigration and diversity, language, income, education, housing and more.

Each community profile presents highlights based on data from the 2016 Census. These will help you get a sense of what the community and its people are like—and how they’re changing.
